Our Ethiopian cotton is sourced from a community in the Simien Mountains. Here, our profits are supporting a local sanitation business to provide toilets and running water to some of the mountains most remote communities.
Malian mudcloth (Bogolan) is an amazing hand woven and dyed fabric found in Mali. Profits from the sales of our products fund a seamstress school in Bamako teaching women new skills and giving them the opportunity to find work.
In Brikama, The Gambia, we discovered the incredible hand woven fabric which you'll find on our Smiling Coast collection. It is in this region that we are raising funds to build a new hospital specialising in HIV care.
The Gambia is also the location of one of our new pilot projects where we are supporting local industry with the import and regulation of essential medication, made accessible and affordable to locals through a smartphone app.
